Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS Havaldar 2022 exam are as follows:
- Age: The candidate must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on 1st August 2022.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class 10th or equivalent from a recognized board.
Exam Pattern
The SSC MTS Havaldar 2022 exam will consist of two stages: the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The CBT will consist of two papers, Paper I and Paper II.
Paper I
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Total Marks: 100
- Number of Questions: 100
- Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Paper I will consist of questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness.
Paper II
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Total Marks: 50
- Number of Questions: 25
- Types of Questions: Short Essay/Letter in English or any other language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
Paper II will consist of questions that test the candidate’s writing skills.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) will only be conducted for the candidates who qualify for Paper I. The details of the PET are as follows:
- Race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes and 30 seconds
- Long Jump: Minimum 13 feet (in 3 chances)
- High Jump: Minimum 3 feet 6 inches (in 3 chances)
- Shot Put (16 Lbs): Minimum 14.8 feet
